Gents,
I spoke to the organizer of Wool Carnival today and he wants us to put on some arena displays of buggies etc during the day.
He has also promised that we will be situated close to the hall and will be able to run an extension lead for some power. I'm happy to take my laptop so that we can show videos of the club nights I've filmed, Nick can you please bring the DVDs I gave you to racing NEXT Friday, because I've deleted a couple to make some room on my hard drive.
Richard suggested we buy a couple of cheap helicopters from Matt to raffle during the day, I think it's a good idea, what do you think? We will have to contribute some of the profit to the carnival but a small price to pay I think.
If you can let me know through the forum/ text me who will be able to turn up and run a car I would be grateful. The carnival starts at 11.00 am and ends at 5.00pm.
I won't be at racing this week but will be next week after I've put up the gazebo at the carnival.
Let me know soonest please.
Terry

Cheers Paul & Stuart. Nick is also coming along, anyone else interested? Matt (MK Models) is willing to supply a couple of £30 3 Channell helicopters by for us to raffle on the day, I'm sure we can sell more than £60 worth of raffle tickets. Phil, you're the man with the money, are you happy for the club to buy the helicopters off Matt? Let me know so that I can arrange for him to bring them to the club on Friday night.
Cheers
Terry

A big thanks to Richard, Paul and Stuart for coming along to Wool Carnival. As usual the buggies and truggy were a huge success, the kids loved them. The raffle was a great success as well, after the float, and cost of the helicopter were accounted for we manged to sell £49.75 worth of tickets, all profit to the club. I got in touch with the winning ticket holder and I delivered it tonight. An especially MASSIVE thanks to Lynne, Robyn, Chloe and Stuart's mates for persuading so many people to part company with their cash. One of the Puddletown Carnival organizers came and spoke to us, he is very keen that we put on a show for them as well on 10th July, so anyone interested please let me know, unfortunately I lost the piece of paper with his contact details on, so if anyone knows him (I think he's called Damien) and how to get in touch, again let me know. He does have Al's contact details though. We also still have another helicopter to raffle there as well, more money for the club. Once again, thanks to those who helped out. Terry
